Echo Mirror

The Echo Mirror is a custom made smart mirror that lets the viewer see somebody else’s reflection. The mirror uses binary face detection (only checking ‘is a face present?’) and then, if it finds a face, it simultaneously saves the last five seconds of recorded video, while also playing back a video of the previous viewer looking at their reflection. This has the effect of putting the current viewer in the body of the previous viewer, looking at another person look at themselves, see where their eyes look, what aesthetic corrections they automatically make (moving hair, adjusting glasses, etc.), how their body shifts when made aware of itself. But nobody rides for free, now your recorded reflection reaction will be passed on to somebody else.
