FluteBot

The FluteBot is a programmable flute, built to be the wind instrument companion to the AutoAutoHarpHarpsichord family of instruments. It controls air pressure with a simple air valve from a hardware store, attached to a step motor for precise control of air pressure, as seen in the beginning of the video. The air pressure controls the octave of the note to be played, and the specific note selection is done by a series of 12 Volt solenoids. All solenoids, motors, and the flute, are mounted using custom 3d printed parts.
